Teucrium’s single commodity ETFs provide futures price exposure to specific agricultural commodities—corn, wheat, soybeans, and sugar—CORN, WEAT, SOYB, and CANE.
This allows for more targeted exposure and precise implementation.
Teucrium also offers two different diversified agricultural ETFs (TAGS and TILL), with exposure to all four of the above agricultural commodities futures in a single holding.
Five of the agricultural commodity ETFs are structured as partnerships under the Securities Act of 1933 ('33 Act) and issue K-1s. CORN, WEAT, SOYB, and CANE all fall under this structure. The '33 Act registration enables Section 1256 tax treatment: 60% long-term / 40% short-term capital gains, regardless of holding period.
For investors who prefer 1099 reporting, TILL is a 1940 Act fund that seeks to provide futures price exposure in corn, wheat, soybean, and sugar markets combined.
Leveraged ETFs seek to provide 2x the daily price performance of an underlying asset. They’re designed for short-term tactical trading and involve heightened risk and volatility. They are not intended for long-term holding. These are high-risk vehicles and may not be suitable for all investors. Daily resets, volatility drag, and the potential for amplified losses are key risks to consider.
Yes. Advisors and institutions may use our ETFs for real asset exposure, potential inflation hedging, and potential non-correlated return streams, particularly within models or diversified frameworks.

Our agricultural ETFs provide price exposure through futures contracts on specific commodities—such as corn, wheat, soybeans, and sugar. This structure allows access to these markets without requiring investors to open a futures account.
Our leveraged ETFs amplify exposure through derivative markets, targeting 2x the daily price movement of the underlying asset. These positions are reset daily, and the funds are designed for short-term traders.
Futures trading is not suitable for all investors. There are multiple risks that an investor should consider. Please read the fund's prospectus prior to investing.
One common risk has to due with rolling futures positions. That is, selling one contract prior to expiration and purchasing a new contract.
Futures may be affected by Backwardation: a market condition in which a futures price is lower in the distant delivery months than in the near delivery months. As a result, the fund may benefit because it would be selling more expensive contracts and buying less expensive ones on an ongoing basis; and Contango: A condition in which distant delivery prices for futures exceed spot prices, often due to costs of storing and insuring the underlying commodity. Opposite of backwardation. As a result, the Fund’s total return may be lower than might otherwise be the case because it would be selling less expensive contracts and buying more expensive ones.
Our ETFs are designed for informed investors, including financial professionals, self-directed traders, and institutions, who are seeking tools to support portfolio diversification, gain exposure to real assets, or implement short-term tactical strategies..
